MARTIN CREEK STREAM AND PRESERVATION MITIGATION BANK SITE

14,609 Linear Feet | Putman County, TN | Construction Completed in 2025

In addition to preserving several thousand feet of high-quality stream, degraded headwaters were restored with grade control structures—riffles, vanes, and toe-wood—for improved channel stability and habitat function. Ephemeral stream enhancements focused on targeted bank stabilization, meander adjustments, and head cut control. Natural channel design was used for stream re-establishment on perennial and intermittent streams at the watershed scale. Several thousand feet of high-quality streams were preserved for credit generation as well.
