Project Manager

Derek is a professional engineer with experience in hydrology, hydraulics, sediment control, site design, stormwater systems design and management, geomorphic assessment, and project management. His project experience includes over 100 miles of drafting and site design for stream restoration sites, natural channel design, and project permitting. While at Beaver Creek Hydrology, Derek has produced full design construction plans for submittal for stream restoration projects in Kentucky, Ohio, California and Colorado, as well as developing permitting documents, generating grading plans, performing natural channel design and field geomorphic assessments. Derek has held engineering roles on projects throughout the United States, as well as international mining projects in South America and Africa. Derek’s working experience stems from diverse water resource applications and large-scale land disturbances in civil engineering and mining consulting, as well as for a research university.
